Concrete Coatings
Coatings and sealers are used for many reasons. They are used for protection from chemical attacks, visually enhanced decorative systems, create slip resistance, eliminate concrete dusting, eliminate moisture penetration, reduce maintenance cost, repair surfaces and create electrostatic dissipative surfaces.

Coatings and sealers can be used in garages, assembly plants, airplane hangers, industrial facilities, food processing plants, storage facilities, retail establishments, and others. Many coatings are seamless and this makes them an excellent choice for food service facilities.

Sealers are designed to partly penetrate and coatings are a topical application. Coatings can be as thin as 1 mil up to 250 mils thick. The higher mil products are good for filling imperfections and leveling floors.

These products come in an array of finishes and a full pallet of colors. They can be a high gloss, rough slip resistant, smooth to a dull flat finish.

There are many systems that are considered "green" building products and can add points towards LEED certification. Each concrete surface requires an evaluation to asses which coating or sealer is the most appropriate. Surface prep is needed in situations involving floors with coatings, spalling and uneven surfaces.

Polished Concrete
Polished Concrete is a long term flooring solution providing similar reflectivity and clarity of a finely polished granite or marble. For nearly twenty years polished concrete has proven to be the most cost effective and aesthetically pleasing long term solution in the hard surface industry.

Acid Stain
Acid stains are a great way to accent any concrete around hardscaped areas. The acid stain process is a relatively fast process and several colors are available. Producing the desired color involves a chemical reaction on a cementations material.

Terrazzo Polishing and Restoration
Terrazzo is a floor system combining two parts marble fragments and one part portland cement or epoxy based bonding agent. A thin layer of the marble and cement/epoxy is poured onto an existing floor. After hardening the surface is then diamond polished to expose the marble chips and close the pores to ensure resistance to staining and absorption.
